Welfare Dairy

Overview

Welfare Dairy is a dairy company with several branches, each with its own stock. They needed a store that sells from the right branch, prices delivery accurately, and gives their team full control over products and orders, on a foundation ready to grow. So instead of a template, I built the store around the way they actually work.

The challenge

• Every branch has different stock, so customers should never see a product their branch doesn't have.
• Delivery cost varies by branch and area, with a minimum order per area.
• Products are sold in different sizes and weights, each at its own price.
• Several discount rules had to stack correctly without conflicts.
• A bilingual store that needed to be fast and indexable by search engines.

What I did

• Branch-level inventory: customers pick their branch and only see what's available there. If they switch branches with a full cart, the site warns them and removes unavailable items.
• Smart delivery pricing: fees are calculated by branch and area, with a minimum order per area.
• Flexible variants: a variant system for weights (250 g up to 1 kg) and other units like liters, each with its own price.
• A clear discount engine: store-, category- and product-level discounts add up and apply once, and duplicate shipping discounts are prevented.
• Role-based dashboard: separate roles (Super Admin, Branch Manager, Order Manager), an extensible permission system, and homepage sections the team controls, such as offers.
• Fast, bilingual storefront: Arabic and English with direction switching, built with server-side rendering (SSR) for speed and SEO.
• Marketing-ready: Google Tag Manager, Search Console, Meta Conversions API and Microsoft Clarity, with an accurate data layer for retargeting.
• Built to scale: Clean Architecture, a payments table ready for online payment methods, and a structure that allows future POS and accounting integrations.
• Launch & operations: deployed on a Linux server with SSL, with client reviews every two weeks throughout the project.
