Overview
PlatX lets any educational organization or instructor pick a plan and launch their own platform with courses and live sessions, complete with a dashboard and student apps. I joined the core frontend team and worked on parts students and teachers use every day.
The challenge
- One platform serving many clients, so every component has to be reusable and customizable.
- Live sessions and video playback have to feel smooth and responsive.
- Continuously developing a live product without disrupting existing users.
What I did
- Live-session page: built it end to end.
- Course video page: contributed to the course viewing experience.
- Reusable components: built with the latest Angular, with optimized state management using RxJS and Signals.
- Product quality: bug fixing, testing, and taking part in feature planning and release cycles.
