Overview
A complete ERP system for running a business, built by a development team I was part of. My job was to build core modules, most notably the restaurant module, and to work directly with clients to turn their needs into solutions.
The challenge
- Restaurants need the hall, tables, staff, treasury and sales tracked in one system.
- Tax calculations must always be accurate.
- Owners need their data live, not at the end of the day.
What I did
- Restaurant module: six screens covering the hall, tables, staff, opening and closing the treasury, and restaurant sales, with dine-in and delivery support.
- Tax calculation: a tax component that keeps every invoice accurate.
- Real-time dashboard: live data and key indicators.
- In-app chat: instant messaging built with SignalR.
- Payment-method fix: traced a payment bug and rebuilt the structure as a parent-child tree.
- Reports & support: improved reports and supported clients through rollout and adoption.
